NASHVILLE \u2013 The Titans have activated cornerback Joshua Williams from Injured Reserve.<\/p>\n
The move makes Williams eligible to play in Sunday’s game against the Colts.<\/p>\n
The Titans have waived defensive back Erick Hallett.<\/p>\n
Earlier this month, the Titans opened up a three-week window for Williams to practice with the team, without counting against the team’s 53-man roster.<\/p>\n
Williams, placed on Injured Reserve on August 31 with a pectoral injury, has practiced the past two weeks.<\/p>\n
After spending his first four NFL seasons with the Chiefs, the 6-foot-3, 201-pound Williams signed with the Titans back in March to compete for playing time in the team’s new-look defense, and to contribute on special teams.<\/p>\n
In his NFL career, Williams has played in 65 career games, with 12 starts, and he’s recorded 86 tackles, 18 passes defensed, a sack and an interception while playing a key role on special teams. Williams started a career-high six games for Kansas City in 2024. During his rookie season in 2022, when he started four games, Williams intercepted Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow in the AFC Championship Game.<\/p>\n
Also on Saturday, the Titans announced defensive lineman Timmy Horne and safety Isaiah Oliver will be gameday elevations for Sunday’s game.<\/p>\n
