Johnson emphasized the awareness required to finish the play while keeping track of the end zone.

It’s a striking endorsement from a receiver whose own career gave Bengals fans multiple candidates for that discussion.

Chase also put forward the latest entry with his 45-yard touchdown against Miami. Additionally, the play moved him past Isaac Curtis into third place on Cincinnati’s career receiving yards list, behind Johnson and A.J. Green.

Johnson watched that catch in person as well.

But for Johnson, Higgins’ twisting touchdown in 2023 is still the one to beat.

This article originally appeared on Bengals Wire: Bengals legend Chad Johnson calls Tee Higgins grab best he’s seen

Sat, October 17, 2026 at 6:01 PM UTC Chad Johnson picked Tee Higgins’ touchdown against Minnesota as the…

[2053
228,227,256,2296,7,6
post-1030295","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-cincinnati-bengals","tag-bengals","tag-cincinnati","tag-cincinnati-bengals","tag-cincinnatibengals","tag-football","tag-nfl
["GET
