Peyton Manning\u2019s \u201cManningCast\u201d has been one of the most successful alternate broadcasts in sports television in recent years, giving fans a different way to consume Monday Night Football on the ESPN family of networks. From having fun guests on the show such as comedian Kevin Hart to football gurus like Bill Belichick, Peyton and Eli Manning have been putting on a successful show since the 2021 season.<\/p>\n

In 2024, Belichick appeared on all 11 broadcasts throughout the season, becoming the first guest to be a weekly member of the show. In his first season away from being a player or a coach since 1970, he still found his way to be around the game and provide fans with some of the best insight possible.<\/p>\n

Back in December, Belichick was announced as the next head coach for the North Carolina Tar Heels, but that wasn\u2019t supposed to put a halt on Belichick\u2019s participation on the ManningCast when the 2025 NFL regular season got underway.<\/p>\n

One nugget after talking with UNC AD Bubba Cunningham:<\/p>\n

Belichick will continue his regular appearances on McAfee and the Manning Cast while UNC\u2019s head coach. <\/p>\n

Fast forward almost six months, and Peyton Manning has other ideas. In a recent interview with 97.1 The Fan<\/a>, a station based out of Columbus, Ohio, Manning broke the news that his broadcasts would look a little different this year.<\/p>\n

\u201cObviously, [Belichick] seems busy right now coaching college football,\u201d Manning said. \u201cSo, he won\u2019t be back this year. He\u2019ll be hard to replace, like, I thought his insight was great. But we\u2019ll try to probably go back to, kind of, rotating guests and, you know, having coaches and players, which I always like their insight, but also the actors and musicians that, you know, the common criteria to be a guest is you gotta love football. And I love, and Eli and I both love, being around people who love football as much as we do in all different walks of life.\u201d<\/p>\n

Belichick has not said anything regarding his status for the broadcast, and neither has his girlfriend, Jordan Hudson, who has been a hot topic of discussion after remarks she made during a Belichick interview recently<\/a>. It is possible that she has something to do with the sudden change in plans for the eight-time Super Bowl champion coach (six as head coach in New England, two as an assistant coach with the New York Giants)?<\/p>\n

Manning just won the Sports Emmy<\/a> for \u2018Outstanding Personality\/Event Analyst\u2019 on Tuesday. This is Manning\u2019s second time winning the award in three years. If Belichick isn\u2019t back on the broadcast, the former Broncos signal caller and NFL legend should be just fine.<\/p>\n
