Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) American Heritage<\/a> four-star cornerback Justice Fitzpatrick<\/a> has committed to Georgia<\/a>, according to On3\u2019s Hayes Fawcett.<\/p>\n

Coming off an official visit to Athens over the weekend, Fitzpatrick chose the Bulldogs over Miami, Florida, Texas and Ohio State, among others. He is the younger brother of former Alabama star and current Pittsburgh Steelers DB Minkah Fitzpatrick.<\/p>\n

The 6-foot-0.5, 195-pounder is the No. 64 overall prospect and No. 7 CB in the 2026 cycle, according to the\u00a0On3 Industry Ranking<\/a>, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He\u2019s also the No. 11 player in Florida.<\/p>\n

On3 ranks Fitzpatrick higher than other recruiting services. He checks in as the No. 34 recruit, No. 4 corner and No. 5 player in the Sunshine State, per the 2026 On300.<\/p>\n

Fitzpatrick named his top five schools last week, but he\u2019s now quickly off the board to the SEC juggernaut. UGA head coach Kirby Smart<\/a> coached his older brother and has now landed one of the top DBs in the 2026 cycle.<\/p>\n

\u201cCoach Smart coached my brother at Alabama, so we know him really well,\u201d Fitzpatrick told On3\u2019s Chad Simmons in March<\/a>. \u201cI know him well, my family knows him well and we have a great relationship. I have gotten to know the coaches at Georgia well, I have worked with them at camp and I feel like Georgia checks off most of my boxes.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fitzpatrick\u2019s pledge brings Georgia up to 12 commits this cycle. The Bulldogs\u2019 class ranks No. 5 in the nation, according to the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Georgia adds huge pledge to elite 2026 class<\/p>\n

On May 5, Georgia won out once again for Nashville Christian Five-Star Plus+ quarterback Jared Curtis<\/a>, the No. 2 recruit and top-ranked QB in the nation. He chose the Bulldogs over Oregon in what was a hotly-contested recruitment.<\/p>\n

\u201cGeorgia speaks for itself,\u201d Curtis told On3. \u201cI\u2019ve built a relationship with Coach Bobo and Coach Smart. I think they\u2019re a powerhouse and they have great coaches all around. They have the players up there and they\u2019re very disciplined.\u201d<\/p>\n

May brought five commitments in total for Smart and Co. Warner Robins (Ga.) Houston County four-star safety Jordan Smith<\/a> is the No. 6 safety in the cycle. Carrollton (Ga.) four-star athlete Ryan Mosley<\/a> and Buford (Ga.) four-star interior offensive lineman Graham Houston<\/a> are top-300 prospects. Norcross (Ga.) four-star defensive lineman Carter Luckie<\/a> is On3\u2019s No. 16 DL in the cycle.<\/p>\n

Tustin (Calif.) Mission Viejo four-star wide receiver Vance Spafford<\/a> committed in November and is now the No. 85 recruit and No. 11 WR overall. IMG Academy (Fla.) four-star safety Zech Fort<\/a> is also a California native and a top-150 recruit.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Fort Lauderdale (Fla.)
