Former Colts and Broncos quarterback and NFL royalty Peyton Manning was recently spotted at Paycor Stadium, where he spoke highly of Cincinnati Bengals\u2019 quarterback Joe Burrow and discussed his role in the upcoming Season 2 of \u201cQuarterback\u201d and Season 5 of \u201cPeyton\u2019s Places\u201d which will both heavily feature the Bengals.<\/p>\n
Burrow will be one of three quarterbacks featured this offseason, the other two being Jared Goff and Kirk Cousins. The future Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback spoke highly of Burrow.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s an incredible quarterback,\u201d Manning said. \u201c He\u2019s just fun to watch play. He\u2019s exciting when the ball is in his hands. The game is never over.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe\u2019s calm, he\u2019s collected, he doesn\u2019t sweat. Out there on the field, off the field … he\u2019s very authentic.\u201d<\/p>\n
Burrow\u2019s inclusion in the Netflix documentary \u201cQuarterback\u201d goes very much against his private personality. He said that much of what ultimately made say \u201cyes\u201d came from his trust in Manning.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe\u2019s going to protect me, protect our team, protect our organization,\u201d Burrow said last month, per Bengals.com\u2019s Geoff Hobson. \u201cI have trust in him for saying that and trust that he\u2019s going to do that. I probably wouldn\u2019t have done it if he wasn\u2019t involved, but I have a lot of trust and faith in him to not do anything that would hurt me or the team.\u201d<\/p>\n

Manning said he was happy he was able to get a glimpse behind the curtain in Burrow\u2019s process and private life and believes the quarterback will \u201ccome across as the cool guy he is.\u201d<\/p>\n
Manning went on to not only praise Burrow\u2019s physical ability but his ability to mentally process the game the way he does, saying he \u201cappreciates the cerebral part of the game.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI fully expect them to be in contention in the AFC every year,\u201d he continued. \u201cIt\u2019s tough. The division is extremely tough. Nobody\u2019s going to just lay down and let you have it. You\u2019ve got to go and get it. I know he\u2019s capable of doing that, and I look forward to watching in his journey.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cQuarterback\u201d isn\u2019t the only show that features the Bengals on its way. \u201cPeyton\u2019s Places,\u201d on ESPN+ will feature the Bengals in several episodes, discussing the rich history of football innovation, spearheaded by Paul Brown, that still permeates through the league today.<\/p>\n

Quarterbacks Season 2 will premier in July on Netflix, and Peyton\u2019s Places Season 5 will debut in November on ESPN+.<\/p>\n
