The Minnesota Vikings and Indianapolis Colts released their final injury reports along with injury designations in advance of their Sunday afternoon matchup at U.S. Bank Stadium. Here they are.<\/p>\n
Injury Report Terms and Glossary<\/p>\n
Injury designation definitions:<\/p>\n
Probable = the league defines a Probable injury designation as a 75% or greater chance of playing. Historically, 95% of players designated probable are active and played on game day.<\/p>\n
Questionable = the league defines a Questionable injury designation as being \u2018uncertain\u2019 of whether the player will play or not. This replaces the former definition of having a 50% chance of playing. Historically, 70-75% of players with a Questionable injury designation were active and played on game day.<\/p>\n
Doubtful = The league defines a Doubtful injury designation to mean the player is unlikely to participate in the game. In practical terms, teams use the designation when a player has less than a 50% chance to suit up, and active game appearances from this designation remain rare. Historically only around 6% of players with a Doubtful designation are active and played on game day.<\/p>\n
Out = will not play. Players with this designation are not active on game day and league rules prohibit them from playing.<\/p>\n
For the Vikings, only Jordan Mason has an injury designation, but his questionable designation is a technical one for those coming off of IR. He will play on Sunday. Christian Darrisaw and Harrison Smith had their customary rest days on Friday.<\/p>\n
For the Colts, a total of seven players have injury designations. The most significant are starting cornerback Sauce Gardner and starting tight end Tyler Warren, both of whom are out, as is wide receiver Anthony Gould.<\/p>\n
Starting linebacker Bryce Boettcher is questionable, as is his backup C.J. Allen, which could leave them thin at the position. The same is true at cornerback with Sauce Gardner out and Justin Walley questionable.<\/p>\n
Lastly, punter Rigoberto Sanchez did not practice all week and is listed as questionable. The Colts added a punter to their roster this week in case he can\u2019t go on Sunday.<\/p>\n
So there you have it. Inactive players will be listed about an hour before game time.<\/p>\n
