After completing a comeback win last week<\/a> against the Indianapolis Colts, the Tennessee Titans are seeking to get their first win in Nashville of the season against a tough Cleveland Browns team. The Browns come in at 4-2, but it\u2019s been their defense that has been carrying them which presents a tough matchup for Tennessee\u2019s offense.<\/p>\n

Rookie wide receiver Carnell Tate has been a big storyline<\/a> for Tennessee’s offense, but he has a very tough matchup against Denzel Ward, who is one of the top corners in the game. Not to mention, Cleveland has a Top-10 pass defense overall, so it could be a potential long day for Cam Ward and the offense.<\/p>\n

However, ESPN’s Seth Walder<\/a> is predicting that a Titans receiver not named Carnell Tate could ultimately be an X-factor in this matchup against Cleveland: Wan’Dale Robinson.<\/p>\n

Wan’Dale Robinson projected to be a major go-to guy for Cam Ward in Week 7<\/p>\n

Walder predicted that Robinson will have at least seven receptions<\/a>, which would match his season-high mark. With type of volume, it shows us that there is a belief that Robinson could be the biggest impact player on the outside for Tennessee, and he very well could be if Ward is following around Tate all game long.<\/p>\n

“Titans WR Wan’Dale Robinson<\/a> will record at least seven receptions, tying his season high. Robinson has one of the largest gaps between open score<\/a> (63) and catch score (39), which suggests he has underproduced based on how open he has been.” Walder wrote.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s been a slow start for Robinson, who was brought over by the New York Giants on a 4-year, $70 million<\/a> deal. He has just 198 yards and two touchdowns on the season. Overall, he’s been the No. 2 receiver behind Tate, but he does lead the Titans in receiving touchdowns.<\/p>\n

Titans must find a way to get Wan’Dale Robinson involved early on<\/p>\n

With the way that the Browns have been winning games this season, the Titans have to get off to a fast start to avoid a low-scoring close game that could conclude with whoever has the ball last.<\/p>\n

Outside of Week 2 against the Philadelphia Eagles, Robinson has had atleast five targets in each game, but he has yet to reach 60 yards in a game. The chances of him getting seven receptions is decent considering that he has three games of 7+ targets (including 11 against the New York Giants).<\/p>\n

If the Titans can get the ball going through the air early on and get Robinson going, they have a good chance at pulling off an upset at home against Cleveland.<\/p>\n
