The day after Jets receiver Garrett Wilson had a sideline blowup caught by CBS cameras<\/a>, Jets coach Aaron Glenn said it was not a big deal.\u00a0<\/p>\n

CBS caught Wilson yelling on the sideline near the team\u2019s bench in Sunday\u2019s loss to the Dolphins. The CBS commentators originally thought he was shouting in the direction of quarterback Geno Smith, who was seated on the bench, but a closer look shows he was yelling at passing game coordinator Seth Ryan.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI think sometimes that\u2019s overblown as far as what people think is happening,\u201d Glenn said. \u201cSometimes those conversations can be totally something else. I know for a fact that Geno, Garrett, it was more or less, \u2018Let\u2019s get going. Let\u2019s get the offense going,\u2019 more than guys bickering at each other. I think sometimes that gets overblown. I know what type of player Garrett is, and I know what type of player Geno is. I know where their heart\u2019s at, too. I know for a fact that was more or less let\u2019s get the offense going and try to score points.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Wilson\u2019s frustration was understandable in the 28-25 loss to Miami<\/a>. Wilson was targeted just three times and had two catches (one other catch was negated by penalty). It has become a recent theme with Wilson going long stretches without being targeted. He only had two targets in the first three quarters against the Patriots last week.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Glenn reiterated they want to get Wilson the ball.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cGarrett is our top priority to make sure we get the ball,\u201d Glenn said. \u201cBut make no mistake about it, I think offensively we did some good things as far as when they were doubling Garrett, who was open? And I think that\u2019s the essence of what you have to do is make sure that when you have an opportunity to throw to an open receiver, you take that opportunity instead of forcing the ball. But as much as possible, and I think you guys know this, we\u2019re trying to get the ball to Garrett as much as we can.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

CB Jarvis Brownlee Jr. was a surprise inactive on Sunday. Glenn would not reveal why on Monday.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, I\u2019m going to keep that in-house between me and Jarvis and we\u2019ll go from there,\u201d Glenn said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Was it a disciplinary matter?\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI just answered that,\u201d Glenn said. \u201cWe\u2019re going to keep that in-house.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
