GREEN BAY, Wis. \u2014 This week\u2019s Organized Team Activities offer a chance for Green Bay Packers receivers \u2014 veterans and rookies \u2014 to work together on the field.<\/p>\n
Veteran Romeo Doubs said he doesn\u2019t mind sharing knowledge with young receivers, even in a contract year.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt does not change me at all,\u201d said Doubs. \u201cIf anything, I think the ultimate responsibility on my end is to be able to guide them. Just get them ready to play as fast as they possibly can. Just keep continuing to give them info within this offensive system. I know if they ever got any questions, they can come to me, they can come to Jayden, because we got a ton of guys in our room.\u201d<\/p>\n
First-round pick Matthew Golden was drafted to add a jolt to the Packers\u2019 receiving corps.<\/p>\n
\u201cOh man, the kid\u2019s a stud,\u201d said Doubs. \u201cDoesn\u2019t really say much. He just comes in and works. He has been real consistent in that area. The kid\u2019s playing fast right now, so I\u2019m excited to see what he can do.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI just like his approach, how he comes to work every day,\u201d said Packers head coach Matt LaFleur. \u201cHe gives great effort and his attitude has been outstanding. He\u2019s a talented young player. Still got a lot to learn. But, I think he\u2019s showing improvement every day.\u201d<\/p>\n
Doubs politely brushed aside questions about his concussions and suspension last season, saying he wants to look forward.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m going to be completely honest with you, man,\u201d said Doubs. \u201cIs there some regret behind that (suspension)? There is, but obviously that was in the past. Stays in the past.\u201d<\/p>\n
Doubs said the biggest lesson he learned from that is the need for better communication.<\/p>\n
Doubs has long been a vocal supporter of quarterback Jordan Love, who\u2019s about to enter his third season as the starter.<\/p>\n
\u201cProgress, man,\u201d said Doubs. \u201cI think this is what this league is all about. Just building upon what you\u2019ve done, good or bad. I believe there\u2019s always good, just to learn from.\u201d<\/p>\n
