{"id":1040045,"date":"2026-10-29T05:25:10","date_gmt":"2026-10-29T05:25:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/1040045\/"},"modified":"2026-10-29T05:25:10","modified_gmt":"2026-10-29T05:25:10","slug":"wednesday-quick-hits-excited-to-be-home","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/1040045\/","title":{"rendered":"Wednesday Quick Hits: \u201cExcited\u201d To Be Home"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>JACKSONVILLE \u2013 The Jaguars practiced at the <a class=\"nfl-o-cta--link nfl-o-cta--underline\" style=\"word-break:break-word\" href=\"https:\/\/www.jaguars.com\/millerelectriccenter\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Miller Electric Center<\/a> Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>The AFC South-leading Jaguars (4-2) practiced in pads for an extended period, with the bye week just past and with <a class=\"nfl-o-cta--link nfl-o-cta--underline\" style=\"word-break:break-word\" href=\"https:\/\/www.jaguars.com\/game-day\/2026\/reg-week8\/colts-at-jaguars\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">a game Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts (2-5) at EverBank Stadium<\/a>. <a class=\"nfl-o-cta--link nfl-o-cta--underline\" style=\"word-break:break-word\" href=\"https:\/\/www.jaguars.com\/team\/coaches-roster\/liam-coen\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Head Coach Liam Coen<\/a> spoke to the media before practice, with quarterback <a class=\"nfl-o-cta--link nfl-o-cta--underline\" style=\"word-break:break-word\" href=\"https:\/\/www.jaguars.com\/team\/players-roster\/trevor-lawrence\/\" title=\"Trevor Lawrence\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Trevor Lawrence<\/a> among players speaking after practice.<\/p>\n<p>A look at Wednesday around the Jaguars:<\/p>\n<p>1.The Jaguars will play at the &#8216;Bank Sunday, and that&#8217;s a positive.<\/p>\n<p>That has been comparatively rare and it&#8217;s going to get rarer, which makes Sunday a cool thing \u2013 and an important thing \u2013 for a Jaguars team that has played well in Jacksonville lately.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We&#8217;re just playing some good football, and you want to win at home,&#8221; defensive end <a class=\"nfl-o-cta--link nfl-o-cta--underline\" style=\"word-break:break-word\" href=\"https:\/\/www.jaguars.com\/team\/players-roster\/josh-allen\/\" title=\"Josh Hines-Allen\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Josh Hines-Allen<\/a> said.<\/p>\n<p>The Jaguars are 2-0 in Jacksonville this season, with their last game at the &#8216;Bank a 35-6 victory over the New England Patriots on September 27.<\/p>\n<p>They beat the Cleveland Browns, 34-10, in the regular-season opener and have three regular-season home games in Jacksonville remaining after Sunday \u2013 against the Tennessee Titans November 29, the Pittsburgh Steelers December 14 and the Washington Commanders the weekend of January.<\/p>\n<p>They will play all domestic regular-season games in Orlando in 2027 before playing home games in the renovated Stadium of the Future in Jacksonville in 2028.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We&#8217;re excited obviously,&#8221; Hines-Allen said. &#8220;We have to cherish the moments that we have right now and get it done this weekend.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The Jaguars have won their last six regular-season games in Jacksonville by a combined 38.1-11.3.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;You want to play well at home in front of your home crowd and your fans and that hasn&#8217;t always been the case,&#8221; quarterback <a class=\"nfl-o-cta--link nfl-o-cta--underline\" style=\"word-break:break-word\" href=\"https:\/\/www.jaguars.com\/team\/players-roster\/trevor-lawrence\/\" title=\"Trevor Lawrence\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Trevor Lawrence<\/a> said. &#8220;It&#8217;s a good feeling knowing that we&#8217;re playing good here. It&#8217;s such a week-to-week league.
