He started 40 games in his four seasons with Miami. The Giants viewed Holland as an ascending player and awarded him a three-year, $45.3 million contract this past March, with $30.3 million guaranteed.<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p>Holland, to some, is a fine safety but a notch below the elite group in the NFL at the moment. After making an impressive debut in 2021 and getting himself named to the PFWA All-Rookie Team, he has not been considered for any postseason notoriety, such as the Pro Bowl.<\/p>\n<p>In a recent ranking of the top 32 NFL safeties, Holland checked in at 10th overall by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pff.com\/news\/nfl-safety-rankings-top-32-ahead-of-2025-nfl-season\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Zoltan Bufay of Pro Football Focus;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Zoltan Bufay of Pro Football Focus<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Holland\u2019s rollercoaster career continued in his fourth and final season with the Miami Dolphins. While he earned PFF overall grades of 84.7 and 90.4 in his first and third seasons, the Oregon product finished with PFF overall grades of 67.2 and 63.0 in his second and fourth seasons.<\/p>\n<p>The difference was apparent in coverage, as he was unable to replicate his 2023 play when he earned an 89.9 PFF coverage grade. 2024 was also the first season in Holland\u2019s NFL career in which he failed to record an interception.<\/p>\n<p>Three other former Giants also made the list.
