The Green Bay Packers used to be able to wear brown helmets with their throwbacks, but that was recently outlawed leaving the Packers with just a plain yellow helmet to work with.<\/p>\n
Last season, the Packers debuted a sleek-looking white helmet for a ‘throwback’ game:<\/p>\n

This season, something even more unique (and traditional) could be on the way.<\/p>\n

Earlier this offseason,\u00a0it was announced that the Green Bay Packers will receive a new set of uniforms in 2026 with Nike\u2019s new \u201cNFL Rivalries\u201d campaign<\/a>. Now,\u00a0Andrew Lind of SportsLogos.Net<\/a>\u00a0is reporting that the\u00a0Packers<\/a>\u00a0will also have a new helmet in 2025, separate from their NFL Rivalries set next year.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n Lind states that the belief is that the Packers are \u201con the verge of wearing the first airbrushed helmet in NFL history, one that mimics the yellow leather helmets the franchise wore in 1950.\u201d Football teams have worn airbrushed \u201cleather\u201d helmets in the past, with the University of Illinois probably doing it the best recently.<\/p>\n That’s right, a mimicked leather helmet could be in the works for the team from Titletown.<\/p>\n
