The Aaron Rodgers-to-Pittsburgh news set the NFL world ablaze \u2014 but former Steelers<\/a> WR Antonio Brown revealed he tried to bring him along for the ride.<\/p>\n

According to MLFootball<\/a>, Brown reached out and reported that Rodgers had tried recruiting him to Pittsburgh in February \u2014 seemingly confirming that the four-time MVP had plans all along to sign with the Steelers.<\/p>\n

MLFootball is hardly Adam Schefter, but Brown didn’t dispute the report \u2014 in fact, he retweeted the claim, as seen below:<\/p>\n

Brown is actually just three years older than 33-year-old WR Robert Woods, who was signed by the Steelers last month. Still, his attitude and off-the-field antics led the Steelers to part ways for a reason.<\/p>\n

Back in March, Brown attempted to confirm the Rodgers-to-Pittsburgh signing early \u2014 but not many took the wideout seriously.<\/p>\n

Could Rodgers have genuinely tried to recruit Brown back to Pittsburgh, or is this simply AB being AB on social media?<\/p>\n
