Michelle Beadle\u2019s time with SiriusXM has come to a close.<\/p>\n

SiriusXM officially parted ways with Beadle and Cody Decker of the \u201cBeadle and Decker\u201d radio show on Thursday, according to The Athletic<\/a> on Thursday.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd we\u2019d like to thank the callers who made the last couple of days an absolute blast!!\u201d Beadle posted on X, confirming the news<\/a>. \u201cTruly. You don\u2019t usually get such love on your way out. Security usually walks ya to the door. You guys rule. 6 hours of how you felt. And you all were heard! Drinks on me\u2026@Decker6<\/a><\/p>\n

The network\u2019s decision comes just days after it decided to replace Beadle and Decker\u2019s time slot with a show hosted by longtime ESPN anchor Stephen A. Smith, a move Beadle felt \u201cblindsided\u201d by.<\/p>\n

During the show Wednesday, Beadle did not hold back when she opened the segment by acknowledging the network\u2019s move.<\/p>\n

\u201cWelcome to the\u00a0\u2018Lame Duck and Who Knew?\u2019\u00a0show here,\u201d Beadle said as Decker yelled \u201cfired\u201d in the background. \u201cAll I ask is to be treated with respect,\u201d Beadle continued. \u201cHere we are, we\u2019re going to do our shows because we\u2019re contractually obligated to be here.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite remaining mostly cordial during her show, Beadle was a lot more blunt with her thoughts when speaking to Front Office Sports<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a reminder: We\u2019re just all pieces of s\u2013t to someone. If you forgot, there it is,\u201d Beadle said during an interview on Wednesday. <\/p>\n

\u201c\u2019The Hollywood Reporter\u2019 comes out \u2014 and there\u2019s his face. I was like, \u2018I should have known.\u2019 That was just kind of gross. I don\u2019t care that we\u2019re being replaced or what have you. It happens all the time. But a little respect would have been nice. Good Lord. I was totally blindsided. Just really embarrassed, to be honest.\u201d<\/p>\n

Beadle, who left ESPN in 2019, then took some shots at Smith<\/a>, saying that she had problems with the show \u201cFirst Take\u201d for years.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t respect his work. He doesn\u2019t like me,\u201d she said. \u201cThis goes back to the Ray Rice stuff. He made some really piggish comments on the air. I responded; he got suspended for like two weeks. I think that was sort of the beginning of the end for anything,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n

\u201cI just don\u2019t respect him. I think he gets things wrong all the time. I\u2019m not talking about opinions; those can never be wrong. But factually, when you spread yourself so thin, it\u2019s hard to be right.
