Over the past two seasons, Murray’s 90.0 PFF passing grade when targeting McBride ranks 15th among these pairings, although they have just a 6.3-yard average target depth.

McBride and Murray are a talented duo, but their production doesn’t jump off the page.

It was a season to remember for McBride, who set career marks in catches (111), receiving yards (1,146), first downs (63) and starts (16). He set a new franchise record for receptions, surpassing his previous mark of 81 in 2023.

The only thing lacking from the tight end’s 2025? Receiving touchdowns. Despite McBride’s breakout season, he finished with just two receiving scores. He did, however, find pay dirt on a run and fumble recovery.

The low number of receiving touchdowns did little to deter the Cardinals from rewarding McBride with a massive contract extension this offseason that at the time made him the highest-paid TE in the league.

Now, it’s about staying consistent for McBride.

“The great ones do it all the time and for me, it’s no secret anymore on what they’re going to do,” McBride said on Tuesday. “They’re going to get me the ball and I just got to continue to make plays when the ball comes to me and continue to grow as a player, a leader on this team and really elevate my teammates around me. … I just have to continue to be me.”

Which duos finished ahead of Cardinals’ Kyler Murray and Trey McBride?

There was no shortage of competition when it came to the duos ahead of Murray and McBride, though only one QB-TE finished ahead of the two.

A look at the top 16 pairings:

1.
