Bengals rookies visited Wright-Patterson Air Force Base on Friday to spend the day with Airmen and their families.<\/p>\n
The players began the day touring the 711th Human Performance Wing and the STRONG Lab (Signature Tracking for Optimized Nutrition & Training) to learn how the military uses human performance technologies to optimize military fitness through personalized training, nutrition and recovery prescription.<\/p>\n
Next was a stop to learn about the U.S. Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine (USAFSAM). USAFSAM has been a leader in the field of aerospace medicine and human performance from the beginnings of aviation and is the oldest continually operating institution of its kind.<\/p>\n
The players visited the Military Working Dog facility before having lunch with military members to learn more about the life of the Airmen.<\/p>\n
The day concluded with a skills & drills clinic for military children in Grades 1-5 where Who Dey and the Ben-Gals joined in on the fun.<\/p>\n
Wright-Patterson Air Force Base has been a leader in military aviation development from the time of airplane inventors Wilbur and Orville Wright to today’s aerospace age.
