It should come as no surprise, but Texas quarterback Arch Manning<\/a> will attend the Manning Passing Academy as a counselor later this month on the campus of Nicholls State in Thibodaux, La.<\/p>\n

Manning, who is entering his first season as the full-time starter at Texas, will join father Cooper, uncles Peyton<\/a> and Eli<\/a> and grandfather Archie at the 29th iteration of the event. <\/p>\n

Manning was a counselor last year along with Quinn Ewers<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Last season in 10 games with two starts, Manning was 61-for-90 for 939 yards and nine touchdowns over two interceptions. He also rushed 25 times for 108 yards and four scores.<\/p>\n

Former Texas high school football stars making their way to MPA include SMU\u2019s Kevin Jennings<\/a>, Virginia\u2019s Chandler Morris<\/a>, Oklahoma\u2019s John Mateer<\/a>, Arkansas\u2019 Taylen Green<\/a>, Texas Tech\u2019s Behren Morton<\/a>, Oregon\u2019s Austin Novasad<\/a>, Clemson\u2019s Cade Klubnik<\/a>, and Baylor\u2019s Sawyer Robertson<\/a>.<\/p>\n

SEC quarterbacks include Manning, Green, Mateer, LSU\u2019s Garrett Nussmeier<\/a>, South Carolina\u2019s LaNorris Sellers<\/a>, Mississippi State\u2019s Blake Shapen<\/a>, Ole Miss\u2019 Austin Simmons<\/a>, Alabama\u2019s Ty Simpson<\/a>, and Georgia\u2019s Gunner Stockton<\/a>.<\/p>\n

More names could pop up in the weeks leading up to the event.<\/p>\n

In 2023, the MPA was the first public event following Manning\u2019s commitment to Texas. <\/p>\n
