Two Rivers Police Department<\/a> was recently honored by the Green Bay Packers.<\/p>\nDuring a ceremony at Lambeau Field, the protectors of the Cool City were named the Department of the Year for going \u201dabove and beyond the call of duty\u201d.<\/p>\n
As a part of the award, the Department also received a special hand-crafted plaque replicating the American flag and a $2,000 grant to benefit the department or a nonprofit.<\/p>\n
The Department released a statement, saying, \u201cWe are truly honored and humbled to receive such an award. We are proud of our staff for their dedication, professionalism, and service to our community. We know that we can only be successful with the support of our community.
