Arizona State football received a 2026 commitment on Saturday from offensive lineman Siosaia Lapuaho, a junior college product from Sandy, Utah, the player announced on X<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The 6-foot-4, 300-pounder competed in four games<\/a> for Garden City Community College last season.<\/p>\n

Lapuaho previously had offers from fellow Big 12 schools Iowa State and Kansas State, as well as Weber State and Liberty, according to 247 Sports<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Two of the Sun Devils\u2019 projected O-line starters this fall are also out of JUCO programs, redshirt seniors Kyle Scott (Riverside CC) and Max Iheanachor (East Los Angeles College), the latter of which some have as a first-round pick<\/a> in the 2026 NFL Draft.<\/p>\n

Lapuaho joined 14 other ASU hard commits, resulting in 247 Sports ranking coach Kenny Dillingham\u2019s haul 16th.<\/p>\n

Lapuaho, nicknamed \u201cLeni,\u201d became the second offensive lineman to commit for the 2026 ASU class. Cortavious Tisaby, a product of South Oak Cliff High School in Dallas, Texas, announced his decision last November.<\/p>\n

The Utah native played at Alta High School.<\/p>\n

He was the latest pickup in offensive line coach Saga Tuitele\u2019s \u201cPoly Pipeline<\/a>,\u201d a nod to peoples who hail from hundreds of Pacific Ocean islands.<\/p>\n
