It\u2019s been a month, but everyone still talks about Metallica in Blacksburg. The legendary band has played in other cities since, but nothing has received quite the attention of that magical night inside Lane Stadium. <\/p>\n
During Friday\u2019s episode of the Joe Rogan Experience, Metallica\u2019s concert in Blacksburg was a topic of conversation. Rogan and his guests were impressed, playing clips of Metallica and clips of a game atmosphere at Virginia Tech, prompting Rogan to say, \u201cCan you imagine being in that audience?\u201d He followed it with a Ric Flair \u201cWooooooo,\u201d before saying, \u201clook at that f\u2014\u2014-g crowd.\u201d<\/p>\n
Rogan was clearly impressed. Someone asked if this was Berlin, referring to Metallica\u2019s recent concert in Germany. Comedian Shane Gillis answered, \u201cIt\u2019s Blacksburg, Virginia. They\u2019re about to watch some mediocre football.\u201d He laughed. <\/p>\n
