Dallas Cowboys<\/a> owner Jerry Jones is one of the most polarizing owners in the NFL. Part of the reason for that is that he always seems to open his mouth trying to get the fan base to believe in the team. <\/p>\n

Last season it was that the Cowboys were going \u201call in\u201d and everyone saw how that worked out. This year, Jones decided to say that the team\u2019s working on two substantial trades that could happen before or after the draft. <\/p>\n

What if a trade partner was the Buffalo Bills<\/a>? There are two possible players we can think of who could be on the trading block.<\/p>\n

Running back James Cook has been a hot topic in the offseason, making it known that he wants a lucrative contract extension. He wants to become one of the highest-paid running backs in the league. <\/p>\n

General manager Brandon Beane spoke to Cook\u2019s representation this spring and couldn\u2019t make enough progress, so talks were tabled. Fast forward to the first day of Buffalo\u2019s voluntary offseason workouts and Cook was nowhere to be found. What if instead of letting Cook play out the final year of his rookie deal, the Bills decided to avoid the headache and send him off to the Cowboys who are looking for a new running back?<\/p>\n

On the flip side, after giving big contracts to quarterback Dak Prescott and wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, the Cowboys still have one big extension to deal with \u2014 that being the future of edge rusher Micah Parsons who is considered one of the best defensive players in the NFL. Parsons is projected to get a contract surpassing the one Myles Garrett just signed that made him the highest-paid defensive player in NFL history. <\/p>\n

Perhaps Dallas doesn\u2019t want to pay such a steep price and is instead ooking to move on and for some sort of compensation. The Bills have a glaring weakness at pass rusher. <\/p>\n

Even though they signed Joey Bosa, his health will always be a question mark and major talking point moving forward. Who\u2019s to say that Brandon Beane hasn\u2019t picked up the phone to inquire about the availability of Parsons?<\/p>\n
