There is no shortage of wide receiver talent on Florida’s Gulf Coast.<\/p>\n

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers<\/a> drafted<\/a> two receivers and signed one as an undrafted free agent<\/a> last week, bringing their total number of rostered receivers to over a dozen.<\/p>\n

Veterans Mike Evans<\/a> and Chris Godwin<\/a> are locks for the outside starting spots, and 2025 first-round pick Emeka Egbuka<\/a> is the likely starter in the slot. That leaves Tampa Bay General Manager Jason Licht with some important decisions ahead as he trims the roster to 53 leading up to the regular season.<\/p>\n

Here’s the current look at the 2025 Buccaneers’ wide receiver depth chart, including several players from last year’s practice squad or on reserve\/future contracts.<\/p>\n

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR depth chart<\/p>\n

Tampa Bay has more than a dozen wide receivers battling for roster spots. Here’s how the depth chart might look, according to ESPN projections:<\/p>\n

Evans \u2013 coming off of his 11th straight 1,000-yard season to start his career \u2013 and Godwin are the veteran locks to be parts of the starting offense in 2025. Egbuka, who was the team’s first-round pick in this year’s draft, is also in pole position to start in the slot.<\/p>\n

McMillan, who stepped up last year as a rookie after Godwin’s season-ending injury, and Shepard, entering his 10th season, are the most likely second-stringers on the outside behind Evans and Godwin.<\/p>\n
