After a strong NFL draft, the good vibes continued this week for the Las Vegas Raiders as there was evidence that Kolton Miller is back attending team activities.<\/p>\n
The Athletic, via team issued content, passed along a photo showing Miller participating a session of the Raiders\u2019 phase two offseason program at their Henderson, Nevada training facility.<\/p>\n

ESPN reported earlier this month the standout left tackle had been skipping the voluntary offseason program because he wants a contract extension. Miller is a free agent after this season and has no guaranteed money remaining his deal. Miller, who turns 30 in October, as the Raiders\u2019 first-round pick in 2018 and he has been an upper-level left tackle.<\/p>\n
Miller is entering the final year of a three-year, $54 million deal in which he received a $42 million in guaranteed money. He probably will be looking for an uptick of that deal this time around. The Raiders have plenty of salary-cap room to get a new deal done.
That fact that Miller has returned to workouts is sign of good faith and perhaps it will expediate contract extensions between the two sides.<\/p>\n
There had been speculation that the team could trade Miller but there was no indication that become close to becoming a reality during the draft last weekend. The Raiders drafted developmental tackle Charles Grant in the third round, but that doesn\u2019t mean they want want to find a solution for Miller.<\/p>\n
Miller started 107 games for the Raiders. He had a bounce-back season in 2024 after dealing with a shoulder injury late in the 2023 season.<\/p>\n
