That means Trevor Etienne\u2019s NFL debut comes not only with all the pressure of his first pro game \u2014 but also against his older brother, fprmer Clemson Tiger and Jacksonville Jaguars back Travis Etienne. The two brothers will go helmet-to-helmet in a matchup that feels bigger than just another regular-season opener.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs soon as we found out the big news, we already were excited about playing each other this year,\u201d Trevor told Panthers.com. \u201cAnd then come to find out that it will be Week 1. It\u2019s even more exciting, and we all can\u2019t wait.\u201d<\/p>\n

Their mother, Donnetta, is preparing for a different kind of competition. Inspired by the NFL\u2019s growing legacy of sibling duels \u2014 from the Kelces to the St. Browns \u2014 she\u2019s putting together a custom split-jersey to rep both her sons on the field.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s adamant about getting this split jersey done for the game,\u201d Trevor said. \u201cI think she got in touch with Amon-Ra St. Brown\u2019s father\u2026 and got some pointers and tips on how to handle that.\u201d<\/p>\n

For Travis, 26, it\u2019s shaping up to be a pivotal season. He\u2019s coming off a career-low 558 rushing yards and now faces competition in Jacksonville\u2019s backfield from second-year runner Tank Bigsby and rookie Bhayshul Tuten.
