The Colts<\/p>\n<p>Isray-Gordon, 44, will <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/05\/21\/sports\/jim-irsays-oldest-daughter-expected-to-take-control-of-colts\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">assume the mantle<\/a> of CEO and principal owner, while Foyt will act as executive vice president and Jackson will serve as chief brand officer and president of the Colts Foundation.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen you talk football with her, she gets it,\u201d coach Shane Steichen said of Irsay-Gordon, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.indystar.com\/story\/sports\/nfl\/colts\/2025\/06\/09\/colts-jim-irsay-death-carlie-irsay-gordon-casey-foyt-kalen-jackson\/84118167007\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">per the Indy Star<\/a>. \u201cShe goes over the defensive stuff, the offensive stuff, she\u2019s been involved since I\u2019ve been here. From day one, very hands-on, and she\u2019s been tremendous. I think she\u2019s going to do a phenomenal job.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>All three have been with the team for a while: Foyt joined the Colts in 2007, Isray-Gordon in 2008, and Jackson in 2010.\u00a0They previously served as Colts vice chair\/owner since 2012, with their new roles \u201cpursuant to longstanding plans set forth by Jim Irsay,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.colts.com\/news\/colts-announce-ownership-transition-carlie-irsay-gordon-casey-foyt-kalen-jackson-jim-irsay\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">per the team<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBeing around Carlie and Kalen so much, the passion they have for this town, this city and the generosity, doing everything they can to help those players and this team be successful, is awesome,\u201d Steichen said.<\/p>\n<p><img style=\"aspect-ratio:1.46077033;display:block\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-modal-image=\"36188087\" width=\"862\" height=\"590\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/jim-irsay-colts-team-owner-105137944.jpg\" alt=\"Jim Irsay, Colts owner, walks on a football field with his girlfriend.\" class=\"wp-image-36188087\"  \/>Former Colts Owner Jim Irsay. Robert Scheer\/IndyStar \/ USA TODAY NETWORK<\/p>\n<p>The move ensures the Colts remain one of the few NFL franchises owned by a single family.<\/p>\n<p>Jim Irsay <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/05\/21\/sports\/jim-irsay-longtime-colts-owner-dead-at-65\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">died in late May<\/a> at the age of 65.<\/p>\n<p>His father, Robert Irsay, acquired the Baltimore Colts in a franchise trade in 1972, giving up his ownership of the Los Angeles Rams.<\/p>\n<p>Twelve years later, Robert Irsay decided to relocate the franchise to its current home in Indianapolis. <\/p>\n<p>Jim Irsay took control of the franchise in 1997 after his father\u2019s passing, with the team winning 10 division championships, two AFC Championships, and its fourth Super Bowl in 2007.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The Colts have three new owners.
