FRISCO \u2014 As defensive end Micah Parsons seeks a contract extension<\/a>, Cowboys second-round pick and fellow edge rusher Donovan Ezeiruaku<\/a> is looking for his first one.<\/p>\n

Of the Cowboys\u2019 nine draft picks<\/a>, Ezeiruaku is the only player not signed. The issue revolves around guaranteed money.<\/p>\n

Of the 32 players picked in the second round, just two have signed: Cleveland linebacker Carson Schwesinger and Houston receiver Jayden Higgins. Both received fully guaranteed contracts. Higgins, picked second in the second round, was the first player selected in that round to sign a fully guaranteed contract in league history.<\/p>\n

Agents of clients picked in the second round are seeking fully guaranteed contracts. Two people with knowledge of the contract confirmed to The Dallas Morning News that\u2019s also the holdup with Ezeiruaku\u2019s deal.<\/p>\n

His projected value is $10.1 million over four seasons.<\/p>\n

Ezeiruaku<\/a> said Tuesday he\u2019s not concerned. <\/p>\n

\u201cNot really,\u201d he said. \u201cI\u2019m here doing what I have to do here every single day. That\u2019s between the organization and my agent. I have full faith they\u2019re going to get that done. When it\u2019s ready, it\u2019s going to be ready and I\u2019ll sign that piece of paper. Other than that, until then, I\u2019m doing what I have to do here.\u201d<\/p>\n
