From coaches to front office staff, people want to know everything about the game. But today, we’re not talking about those on the sidelines. We’ll be talking about the main role on the field, the player who calls the shots.

This article is all about our projections on the top 5 QBs in College Football 26. Some will obviously retain their stats from College Football 25, but we’re bound to get some new additions as well to shake things up. So, let’s see who proved themselves enough to earn the top spots.

        DJ Lagway – Florida Gators

Florida Gators QB DJ Lagway takes up the first spot on the list. Though last season could’ve definitely been better in terms of stats, Lagway possesses all of the tools a modern QB must have from a physical standpoint. This is backed by his incredible track record and in-game attributes. In CFB 25, Lagway boasted a 90 on almost all his stats except STR and AWR, the latter being at 88.

DJ Lagway has an OVR of 97 in College Football 25. While this is still a good OVR on its own, we believe it might increase slightly in the new iteration of the game.

    Arch Manning – Texas Longhorns

Next, we have Arch Manning from the Texas Longhorns, arguably one of the most hyped QBs college football has seen in a while. Manning might not compare to Lagway in the stat spread, but he’s proved himself quite well on the field, throwing 9 touchdowns and nearly reaching 1,000 yards despite limited playing time. His general makeup isn’t that bad, but it pales in comparison to his top-of-the-line passing stats, all above 95 (except Tac).

The Longhorns QB is rocking a 98 OVR in College Football 25, and we’re hoping to see him maintain, or even go over that limit in College Football 26.

Drew Allar – Penn State Nittany Lions

You might remember Drew Allar from our previous piece on the most fun QBs to play with. Drew is an exceptional presence on the field, keeping his team together and calling all the right plays. The 6’5, 235-pound QB from Penn State is coming off a really good junior year with the Nittany Lions in which he threw for 28 touchdowns, 3,327 yards, and completed 66.5% of his pass attempts.

Drew sits at 97 OVR for now. Considering his past season, we can expect him to maintain that OVR for the future.

    Taylen Green – Arkansas Razorbacks

As we move down the list, the height of QBs keeps increasing for some reason. At number 4, we have Taylen Green, the 6’6 QB from Arkansas. Taylen is incredible at what he does. He is one of the few players with an entirely green stat spread, only slightly lacking in stats like STR and SFA. Besides that, it’s mostly 90 and above, making him a really solid pick.

At 98 OVR in College Football 25, we see him staying right around that range in the coming game.

    Cade Klubnik – Clemson Tigers

Our last pick for the top QBs of College Football 26 is Cade Klubnik, the 6’2 QB from Clemson. Now, Cade isn’t as impressive with his stat spread as some of the other names here, but he’s proved he can rise above those stats in the field. He is also arguably the top QB in his recruitment class right now in real life, so it’s only fair to predict he’ll get at least a slight boost this year.

In our opinion, he is long overdue for an attribute rework, something we’re hoping to see in College Football 26.

As we inch closer and closer to the release of College Football 26, projections have started pouring in.…

[5
22802,7060,7,49,48
0":"post-120799","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-ncaa-football","8":"tag-ea-sports-college-football-26","9":"tag-college-football-26","10":"tag-football","11":"tag-ncaa","12":"tag-ncaa-football
["GET
