FRISCO — George Pickens<\/a> is about to end the offseason comfortably. <\/p>\n

The Cowboys\u2019 new wide receiver<\/a> is showing his speed in offseason workouts, particularly when he\u2019s on the field with CeeDee Lamb<\/a> and is getting acclimated with the offense and his new quarterback Dak Prescott. <\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s getting better and better every time,\u201d Pickens said after the second day of the mandatory minicamp on Wednesday. \u201cLearning the plays, the more I\u2019m here and the minutia of how he wants to run his plays. So yeah, we\u2019re connecting for sure.\u201d<\/p>\n

The speed is the biggest thing Pickens is bringing to an offense that seeks it in different ways, whether it\u2019s using rookie running back Jaydon Blue<\/a> or with receiver KaVontae Turpin. <\/a><\/p>\n

The Cowboys are scheduled to have their first training camp practice on July 22.<\/p>\n
