Zach Wilson is getting advice he has never received before.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Dolphins quarterback told reporters he has been told by his new coaches that he has been late on some of his throws.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s crazy because I\u2019ve never been told before at past places like, \u2018Hey, you\u2019re late.\u2019\u201d Wilson said Wednesday after Miami\u2019s practice.\u00a0\u201cEven with a strong arm, it\u2019s not like, \u2018Hey, you\u2019re late on this throw.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Wilson has now been in the league for five seasons and just joined the Dolphins in March after three years with the Jets and one with the Broncos..\u00a0<\/p>\n
The 25-year-old points to his receivers for a reason why he is finally getting these notes. <\/p>\n
While some could think that this is a dig at the Dolphins\u2019 receiving core, it is quite the opposite.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have so much speed,\u201d Wilson said about his receiver group. \u201cI have to trust this receiver is going to be there.\u201d<\/p>\n
For Wilson, these tips might have been helpful when the quarterback was in the Big Apple, as he did not have much success during his stint with Gang Green.\u00a0<\/p>\n

When the Jets drafted Wilson in 2021, he was seen as a savior for a team that has had a perpetual quarterback problem.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Unfortunately, Wilson did not bring relief to that issue and became a part of the status quo.\u00a0<\/p>\n
In his three seasons in New York, Wilson had a record of 12-21 and threw 23 touchdowns with 25 interceptions.<\/p>\n

The former second overall pick was then traded away to Denver for just a sixth-round pick before the 2024 season.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Wilson has not been an NFL starter since the 2023 season, and the 2025 season is no different, as he\u2019s sitting behind Tua Tagovailoa.\u00a0<\/p>\n
As history has shown, though, Tagovailoa has had a lot of trouble staying healthy during his seasons in the NFL.\u00a0<\/p>\n
