Murrieta (Calif.) four-star quarterback Bryson Beaver<\/a> has decommitted from Boise State, he announced on Twitter. <\/p>\n

He had been committed to the Broncos since April 19, when he chose them over Northern Arizona, San Jose State, Florida Atlantic, and a handful of other programs. Beaver\u2019s decision comes on the heels of an offer from Oregon on Wednesday as the Ducks ramp up their pursuit of him. <\/p>\n

\u201cEarlier this week, after speaking with Coach Danielson, I made the decision to decommit from Boise State and reopen my recruiting process,\u201d he wrote.\u00a0\u201cThis decision was a tremendously difficult one, because of how good the Boise State family has been to us.\u00a0 My family and I have nothing but gratitude for the kindness that has been shown to us by the Boise State coaching staff and \u201cBronco Nation\u201d as a whole.\u00a0 I wish the Boise State family nothing but the best in the future.\u201d<\/p>\n

On3 currently ranks Beaver as the nation\u2019s No. 19 quarterback and a four-star prospect. According to the On3 Industry Ranking<\/a>, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies, he is the country\u2019s No. 852 prospect and No. 55 quarterback. <\/p>\n

The Ducks watched him throw on Wednesday evening and offered him on the spot as they look for one \u2014 or potentially two \u2014 quarterbacks in the 2026 class.<\/p>\n

\u201cI threw for Oregon tonight and they offered,\u201d Beaver told On3\u2019s Steve Wiltfong<\/a>. \u201cI\u2019m super stoked.\u201d<\/p>\n

The 6-foot-3, 195-pounder is coming off a junior season where he completed over 66 percent of his passes for 3,214 yards and 33 touchdowns to just six interceptions. He added 411 yards rushing and six more scores.<\/p>\n

Next week, he is set to compete with some of the nation\u2019s top signal-callers in the upcoming Elite 11 Finals<\/a>.<\/p>\n
