Announced Adult Swim show to feature Dallas Cowboys\u2019 owner"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">The next installment of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/person\/a0b87804-200a-e95f-e2a8-6292df0ba0bc\/jerry-jones\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/person\/a0b87804-200a-e95f-e2a8-6292df0ba0bc\/jerry-jones\/\">Jerry Jones<\/a> cinematic universe is on the way.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">TV network <a href=\"https:\/\/press.wbd.com\/us\/media-release\/adult-swim-reveals-new-and-returning-series-and-forthcoming-special-featuring-top\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/press.wbd.com\/us\/media-release\/adult-swim-reveals-new-and-returning-series-and-forthcoming-special-featuring-top\">Adult Swim announced<\/a> an upcoming adult animated series titled \u201cKeeping up with the Joneses,\u201d featuring an animated version of the Dallas Cowboys\u2019 singular owner.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">The announcement, made at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, said the show will be comedy made up of 30-minute episodes. The show\u2019s description says the program will follow the Newberry family \u201cas they try to \u2018keep up\u2019 with their staggeringly wealthy Dallas neighbors \u2014 including the one next door, Jerry Jones.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Cowboys<\/p>\n<p class=\"dmnc_features-cta-social-cta-social-module__zWZy- mb-4\">Be the smartest Cowboys fan. Get the latest news.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">Jones\u2019 cartoon version will not be voiced Jones himself, but by an actor, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/tv\/tv-news\/jerry-jones-adult-swim-keeping-up-with-the-joneses-series-1236263784\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/tv\/tv-news\/jerry-jones-adult-swim-keeping-up-with-the-joneses-series-1236263784\/\">a report from The Hollywood Reporter<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">Show creators Hugh Davidson, Rachel Ramras and Larry Dorf previously worked on the Netflix series \u201cThe Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window.\u201d The program is being produced by Warner Bros. Animation. <\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">Jones is no stranger to the world of television. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/arts-entertainment\/tv\/2025\/01\/06\/jerry-jones-appears-as-himself-in-taylor-sheridans-landman\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/arts-entertainment\/tv\/2025\/01\/06\/jerry-jones-appears-as-himself-in-taylor-sheridans-landman\/\">He appeared as himself<\/a> in an episode of the Taylor Sheridan series \u201cLandman\u201d earlier this year.
