This pick is a bit surprising since the wide receiver hasn’t been able to make any type of impact for the past season, so it’s hard to imagine he can get back to his old 2021-2023 self, he once was with the Jaguars, Lions and Panthers. Originally selected in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft, the former LSU product had one of the best campaigns in his sophomore year, finishing the season with 1,008 receiving yards and eight touchdowns on 73 receptions.

It’s hard to imagine he will ever get back to that same Pro Bowl year he has, but if he can stay healthy, he could have a turnaround campaign this upcoming season. Chark didn’t have the worst third year with the Jaguars, are posting 53 receptions for 706 receiving yards and five touchdowns. While the wide receiver is still young, he could receive some type of interest to become at least a WR3 at best if he can stay healthy. These four teams might be willing to take a risk to get Chark on a one-year deal minimum.

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver DJ Chark (9) during organized team activities at the Hoag Performance Center. Chark won’t be taking Zay Flowers‘ or Rashod Bateman’s job this season, so the wide receiver is still able to make some type of impact in a service role. The Ravens need a WR4 to continue advancing efforts in this already explosive offense, but Chark could easily change his career around playing behind Lamar Jackson.

Dallas Cowboys

Meanwhile, just because they got George Pickens in a trade, it doesn’t mean they shouldn’t get another wide receiver. Quarterback Dak Prescott must be put in the best position, other than having Kavontae Turpin and Jalen Tolbert in the backend of this depth chart. Chark might not immediately upgrade this wide receiver department, but he’s another body the Cowboys could use alongside Jonathan Mingo in situational moments.

Kansas City Chiefs

However, like the Ravens, quarterback Patrick Mahomes could revive Chark’s career. Xavier Worthy and Rashee Rice are two long-term starters for this unit, but they lack a true depth structure behind Marquise Brown after bringing back JuJu Smith-Schuster. Since Justin Watson was able to turn his career around and earn opportunities elsewhere, they could do the same with Chark, bolstering the offense as a reliable WR4 at best.

New Orleans Saints

Since the Saints are without an adequate quarterback, they should get as many wide receivers as they can. Chris Olave, Rashid Shaheed, Brandin Cooks are solid perimeter receivers, but they won’t lose anything if they add Chark. He’s not changing the entire offense, but rather making some type of noise in the background in Kellen Moore’s first year as a head coach, possibly.

There’s at least one NFL free agent that remains on the market, and that is wide receiver DJ…

[2064
849,241,5403,5404,6000,436,4695,15075,7,467,922,1014,262,2453,2444,2443,401,6,4000,10420,6211
0":"post-129271","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-los-angeles-chargers","8":"tag-baltimore-ravens-news","9":"tag-chargers","10":"tag-chargers-featured","11":"tag-chiefs-featured","12":"tag-chris-olave","13":"tag-dallas-cowboys-news","14":"tag-deandre-hopkins","15":"tag-dj-chark","16":"tag-football","17":"tag-george-pickens","18":"tag-kansas-city-chiefs-news","19":"tag-los-angeles","20":"tag-los-angeles-chargers","21":"tag-los-angeles-chargers-news","22":"tag-losangeles","23":"tag-losangeleschargers","24":"tag-new-orleans-saints-news","25":"tag-nfl","26":"tag-rashee-rice","27":"tag-ravens-featured","28":"tag-saints-featured
["GET
