Florida football scored another victory on the recruiting front on Friday with the commitment of four-star running back Carsyn Baker.<\/p>\n
The 6-foot-0.5-inch, 195-pound rusher out of Fairburn (Georgia) Langston Hughes in the 2026 cycle chose the Gators from a group of suitors that ran 54 schools deep, including the Florida State Seminoles<\/a>, Clemson Tigers<\/a>, Ohio State Buckeyes<\/a> and South Carolina Gamecocks; he made an official visit to see the ‘Noles on May 26 in Tallahassee.<\/p>\n Advertisement<\/p>\n Baker’s official visit with Florida obviously went well, with running backs coach Jabbar Juluke playing the point man in the rising senior’s recruitment. Billy Napier was also heavily involved as his relationship with the young recruit improved during their time together; his campus visit also gave him some exposure to current running backs Jadan Baugh and Treyaun Webb.<\/p>\n “I was very impressed by them,” Baker told 247Sports<\/a> after the visit. “They definitely jumped up my charts a lot. I had a great time.”<\/p>\n The program also made an important impression on the people who mean the most to Baker.<\/p>\n “They made a positive impression on my family,” he offered. “They have a great brotherhood with a great coaching staff, and a great culture.”<\/p>\n Advertisement<\/p>\n Baker was the only running back on the team’s summer official visit schedule.
