The Los Angeles Rams<\/a> got some valuable contributions from their undrafted rookies last year, led by Jaylen McCollough, Omar Speights and Justin Dedich. This offseason, the Rams have signed a total of 18 undrafted rookies following the 2025 draft in hopes that a few of them could help the team if needed<\/p>\n

Though the Rams do value undrafted players each year, they don\u2019t give out nearly as much guaranteed money as some other teams. According to Spotrac<\/a>, they only gave those 18 players a total of $192,000 in guaranteed money; Willie Lampkin leads the group with $30,000 guaranteed.<\/p>\n

Only three other teams gave out less guaranteed money to their undrafted rookies this year: the Ravens<\/a> ($181,500), Chargers<\/a> ($181,000) and Steelers<\/a> ($172,000).<\/p>\n

Last year, the Rams paid $181,000 to their undrafted rookies, which was the fifth-lowest total of any team. In other words, it’s nothing new for them to give low guarantees to undrafted players.<\/p>\n

It doesn’t mean those players can’t make the 53-man roster because the Rams will keep the best 53 regardless of draft pedigree, but there’s no question players with higher guarantees have a better chance of sticking around.<\/p>\n
