ESPN viewers couldn’t believe a show’s debate that revolved around Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott with the NFL season not for a couple of months.<\/p>\n

The hit morning show Get Up spoke about the four-time NFL<\/a> Pro Bowl quarterback amid plenty of sports topics to cover.<\/p>\n

Get Up discussed Prescott despite the NFL season not taking place until the first week of September<\/p>\n

ESPN’s Get Up put together a segment concerning Prescott on Monday.<\/p>\n

The panel, which consisted of host Mike Greenberg and analysts Bart Scott, Damien Woody, and Dan Graziano, was seated at the desk as the lower third graphic read, “What is Dak Prescott’s legacy right now?”<\/p>\n

The segment touched on Prescott’s comments last week in which he stated his desire to win a championship with the Cowboys, as the four debated whether he has a legacy.<\/p>\n

But Prescott hasn’t thrown a pass in more than seven months, and the NFL doesn’t start until the first week of September.<\/p>\n

ESPN’s viewers were also confused over the segment because plenty of sporting events took place over the weekend.<\/p>\n

The U.S. Open<\/a>, the NBA<\/a> Finals, and the Stanley Cup Final have been in full force this month. <\/p>\n

Fans shared their displeasure over ESPN’s decision to talk about Prescott instead of the big three events.<\/p>\n

“They have no idea what people want to watch,” one wrote.<\/p>\n

“Just brutal content,” another commented.<\/p>\n

“This show cannot go a day without focusing on the Cowboys, Lakers and Steelers,” a third said.<\/p>\n

“Nobody wants to watch this,” a fourth added.<\/p>\n

It’s worth noting that Get Up did lead with the top stories of the day, including the NBA playoffs and the U.S. Open.<\/p>\n

But the program could’ve discussed the MLB blockbuster trade that saw the Boston Red Sox send Rafael Devers <\/a>to the San Francisco Giants on Sunday.<\/p>\n

And Get Up could’ve also spoken about the Memphis Grizzlies<\/a> shipping star guard Desmond Bane to the Orlando Magic<\/a> on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Instead, Get Up also talked about several other NFL quarterbacks, including Aaron Rodgers<\/a>, who recently signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers.<\/p>\n
