Aaron Donald<\/a> believes the Los Angeles Rams can make a Super Bowl run this fall. During a Raising Cane\u2019s event in Burbank, California, earlier this month, On3 asked the former Rams defensive lineman what he expects from the Rams in 2025. <\/p>\n

\u201cA better year,\u201d Aaron Donald told On3 and other reporters. \u201cObviously, the offense is going to be stand-packed. Still got a lot of veteran guys, a lot of good players. But when it pertained to the defense, had a young defense that pressed a lot of people. Now they\u2019re coming back for a second year together. They got that experience with each other. <\/p>\n

\u201cI know they\u2019re going to be that much better with each other. The more you play with the team, play with guys, the more comfortable you feel. You understand. How to play off guys, and do things like that. So I\u2019m hoping that it\u2019s going to be a better year than what it was last year, and it was a pretty good year. So I\u2019m just going to be, as a fan in the stands, or on the couch watching, cheering them on. That\u2019s it. But sky\u2019s the limit for them guys.\u201d<\/p>\n

Aaron Donald has big expectations for Jared Verse<\/p>\n

2024 was the first year that the Rams didn\u2019t have Donald on the roster since selecting him in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft. The team won the NFC West and lost to the eventual Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles in the divisional round of the playoffs. <\/p>\n

If the Rams make a run at the Super Bowl, a player to watch is Jared Verse.<\/a> The Rams selected the former Florida State<\/a> defensive lineman in the first round of last year\u2019s draft and was named Defensive Rookie of the Year<\/a> after posting 62 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks and 11 quarterback hits. Donald expects Verse to be one of the top defenders in the league very soon.<\/p>\n

\u201cYoung guy that just won Defensive Rookie the Year that talk a lot, but back it up,\u201d Donald said of Verse. \u201cSo as long as he continues to work hard, continue to do what he do, continue to make sure he get himself better, not allow himself to be comfortable, sky\u2019s the limit for him.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Aaron Donald believes the Los Angeles Rams can make a Super Bowl run this fall.
