The Denver Broncos have a chance to be really good in 2025.<\/p>\n

QB Bo Nix is coming off an excellent rookie year, they made some key offseason additions through free agency<\/a> and the NFL Draft<\/a> and their defense might be one of the best in the league.<\/p>\n

And even the running back room feels more settled with the additions of RJ Harvey<\/a> and J.K. Dobbins.<\/a><\/p>\n

However, perhaps the biggest remaining question for the Broncos is the receiving room. Is it talented enough to help Denver win the AFC West for the first time since 2015?<\/p>\n

Well, on Tuesday, Pro Football Focus released its receiving corps ranking<\/a>s and unfortunately the Broncos are near the bottom of the NFL. No. 22 out of 32 teams to be exact.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s what PFF\u2019s Trevor Sikkema had to say<\/a>, which is more encouraging than the actual ranking itself:<\/p>\n

The Broncos earned a team 67.7 PFF receiving grade in 2024, which ranked just 28th in the NFL. But their outlook is better for 2025. Courtland Sutton still leads the way after posting a 77.0 PFF receiving grade last season, and DeVaughn Vele and Marvin Mims Jr. earned 70.0-plus marks, too. The arrow is pointing up for Denver.<\/p>\n

The team also added tight end Evan Engram, whose potential to be a 100-target player will be a welcome piece of the puzzle after Lucas Krull led all Broncos tight ends with just 23 targets in 2024.<\/p>\n

The addition of Engram should definitely be a big one. He could be Denver\u2019s best tight end since Julius Thomas. The Broncos also really like rookie wide receiver Pat Bryant, and hopefully Troy Franklin can make a leap in his second year and find some of that chemistry he had with Nix at Oregon.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Sutton is clearly the No. 1 wideout, Mims flashed big time late last year and Vele delivered a solid rookie campaign despite being a seventh-round draft pick.<\/p>\n

Around the AFC West, the Chiefs receiving corps is ranked 14th, the Raiders are 25th and the Chargers check in at 27th. It\u2019s not a strength of what\u2019s considered to perhaps be the best division in football.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ll see how it all shakes out in 2025, but if the Broncos\u2019 pass-catchers can overachieve, they\u2019re a threat to win perhaps 11 or 12 games.<\/p>\n
