Kansas<\/a> City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes<\/a> debuted a bold new look at the team’s minicamp this week, most notably without his signature mohawk.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Mahomes hair has an become iconic part of his identity and was cut off to make a regular crew cut.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Chiefs fans immediately realized the difference, as they have not known a Mahomes without his unique haircut.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n

Mahomes has not commented on his new hairdo, wearing a hat to Wednesday’s press availability.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The quarterback is not the only member of the Chiefs’ with a significant change, as close friend and tight end Travis Kelce<\/a> showed up to Missouri<\/a> looking noticeably slimmer.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Most fans loved the change for Mahomes, giving him tons love love on social media over the new head shot.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘My goat can do no wrong,’ one Chiefs fan said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘He got tired of buddy from Nebraska trying to be him so he changed the cut,’ a second Kansas City supporter stated, comparing him to Dylan Raiola.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘My glorious QB is aging backwards,’ a third added.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘I’m glad he got the cut lol. Now he look like us,’ a fourth concluded.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Mahomes has one of the worst games of his professional career in last year’s Super Bowl, helping the Eagles build a 34-0 lead into the third quarter, before throwing three touchdown passes.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The new haircut could be a way of starting a new era, as the Chiefs look to get back to their winning ways.<\/p>\n
