The Miami Dolphins and Jalen Ramsey have been searching for a trade partner for a while now. The two sides mutually agreed early in the offseason, and the Dolphins waited until after June 1 to help with the dead cap space hit.<\/p>\n

With less than a month until training camp, Ramsey may have just hinted at where he’ll be playing in 2025.<\/p>\n

Although this is nothing concrete, it could be a signal from Ramsey that the Steelers will be his home in 2025. After all, Pittsburgh has shown this offseason that they are willing to go all-in right now.<\/p>\n

The Steelers and Dolphins have been in communication throughout the offseason regarding tight end Jonnu Smith. Now, the two teams could be in touch about Ramsey.<\/p>\n

The Steelers’ secondary is already loaded with star power, with Minkah Fitzpatrick leading the group. Pittsburgh signed Darius Slay to a one-year, $10 million deal this offseason, and Joey Porter Jr. will be entering his third year in the league.<\/p>\n

With the addition of Aaron Rodgers earlier this month, it’s obvious that the Steelers are trying to put everything together to make a run in 2025.<\/p>\n

The addition of Ramsey could build the Steelers’ secondary into one of the best in the NFL. If you pair that with a healthy T.J. Watt and the Steelers’ defensive front, Pittsburgh’s defense could be looking at its greatest potential yet.<\/p>\n

The Steelers’ cap space isn’t in the greatest position, sitting at just below $19 million. But if Pittsburgh believes the addition of Ramsey with Rodgers on the other side of the ball could put them in contention for a Super Bowl, I’m sure they’d find a way to make it happen.<\/p>\n

Adam Schefter said on the Pat McAfee show this morning that he expects Ramsey to be traded before training camp begins, which leaves less than a month before the Dolphins’ cornerback could be on the move.<\/p>\n
