Nicolas Raskin\u2019s future has been one of the major talking points at Rangers this summer. <\/p>\n
The Bears midfielder enjoyed a sparkling season last time out despite playing at the heart of a team that was relatively dysfunctional at times, so it is no surprise that his form has attracted interest from other clubs. <\/p>\n
The likes of Fiorentina and Aston Villa have been mooted as potential suitors for Raskin<\/a>, with Rangers understood to have placed a valuation of around \u00a325million on their star man. <\/p>\n Raskin<\/a> joined the Govan outfit for just \u00a31.75m back in January 2023, but after 16 goal contributions in all competitions last term, his value in the market is now skyrocketing. <\/p>\n Kevin Thelwell<\/a> and Co. have faced a major decision on Raskin over the last few weeks, as interest has begun to gather in the 24-year-old from across Europe. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n New boss Russell Martin is understood to have been handed a healthy transfer budget by the 49ers<\/a>, but selling Raskin could, in theory, have almost doubled the amount of cash available to be reinvested into the squad this summer.<\/p>\n Raskin is approaching the final two years of his deal, but Martin has made it clear that he wants to build his new-look side around the Belgian, according to The Scottish Sun<\/a> (20 June). <\/p>\n Thelwell is also keen to tie the midfielder down to a new long-term deal, which would provide additional security for the club and also drive up the potential asking price for Raskin even further. <\/p>\n It is believed that Raskin himself is happy at Rangers and could be open to penning a new deal to extend his stay. <\/p>\n News of Raskin potentially being open to staying at Ibrox<\/a> will surely be hugely welcome to everyone at Rangers. <\/p>\n The Belgian improved drastically throughout last season and has become one of the Bears\u2019 key players in the middle of the park. <\/p>\n![\"Nico](\"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Nico-Raskin-1024x576.jpg\")
