Winfrey was named to the 2025 All-UFL team after tallying 29 tackles, two tackles for loss and a sack.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Winfrey was originally selected by Cleveland in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft out of the University of Oklahoma.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">He was released by the Browns during the offseason <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wkbn.com\/sports\/police-release-video-after-alleged-incident-involving-browns-perrion-winfrey\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:after multiple off-field incidents.;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">after multiple off-field incidents.<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">In 2023, Winfrey served a two-game suspension stemming from assault charges that were eventually dropped.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">He was also arrested for assault in July of 2023, but was not charged in that incident.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Winfrey <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wkbn.com\/sports\/cleveland-browns\/report-troubled-former-cleveland-brown-signs-with-new-team\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:was later signed to the New York Jets\u2019 practice squad;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">was later signed to the New York Jets\u2019 practice squad<\/a> for the 2024 campaign.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">In his two seasons playing in the NFL, Winfrey appeared in 14 games and tallied 25 tackles, a tackle for loss and half a sack to go along with two pass deflections.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc.
