Chiefs\u2019<\/a> squad in the new season.<\/p>\nGuard Tremayne Anchrum Jr and tight end Kevin Foelsch have both been shown the door following a three-day minicamp.<\/p>\n
Both players had only recently linked up with the Chiefs and were eager to nail down a spot in the side.<\/p>\n
Anchrum Jr, 26, won the 2022 Super Bowl with the LA Rams but has since struggled to secure a contract at a new franchise.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Foelsch, 24, was in the Eagles\u2019 practice squad as they won NFL\u2019s top prize but failed to make a single appearance.<\/p>\n
Both players are now on the hunt for new teams.<\/p>\n
And their exits mean the Chiefs can now add undrafted rookie lineman Joey Lombard and ex-UFL tight end Geor\u2019Quarius Spivey to their roster.<\/p>\n
Mahomes is certainly excited at the prospect of another Super Bowl win.<\/p>\n
