The Cincinnati Bengals<\/a> aren\u2019t the only AFC North team embroiled in a major contract standoff with a star pass-rusher right now.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Granted, nothing around the league seems as public and messy as Cincinnati\u2019s standstill with Hendrickson, unless one counts the contract standoff with Shemar Stewart<\/a>, too.\u00a0<\/p>\n

But the Pittsburgh Steelers are another team going through the same thing with edge rusher T.J. Watt<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Ask Bengals<\/a> offensive tackle Orlando Brown Jr., Watt is one of those guys right up there with Hendrickson.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI gotta put my man T.J. Watt in here,\u201d Brown said on ESPN\u2019s NFL Live. \u201cAs everybody knows with T.J., man, he\u2019s impossible to keep off the stat-sheet,\u201d Brown said. \u201cI mean, there\u2019s been times I\u2019ve played him, I thought I did a good job in pass-protection. And he\u2019s got two tackles for a loss on me, man.\u201d<\/p>\n

Brown also used the platform to talk about Hendrickson\u2019s contract saga and its impact on the locker room<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Regardless, Brown is right that Watt deserves to be right up there with the best names in the NFL, hence the contract saga there, too.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Hendrickson slotting right up there numbers-wise and overall, too, explains why the Bengals would like his contract situation resolved sooner rather than later, too.\u00a0<\/p>\n
