The Dead Period is far from that in the world of college football recruiting. On-campus official visits wrapped up across the country on Sunday, but the hay is not in the barn. Recruits are contemplating their next destination before reaching a final decision. Here\u2019s who Kentucky is involved with that could commit to the Cats this week. <\/p>\n

A speedy wide receiver (4.42 in the 40-yard dash and 10.36 in the 100 meters) from just outside of Athens, GA, Dickerson helped North Oconee win its first state title last fall. Now he\u2019s down to three finalists, and things are looking good for the Wildcats. He canceled an official visit to Florida to arrive in Lexington a week earlier than his originally scheduled OV. Oklahoma appears to be the team to beat, while a connection to Georgia Tech<\/a> makes the Yellow Jackets a Wild Card. <\/p>\n Before entering decision-making mode, he broke down his finalists with Jacob Polacheck<\/a>. That last visit could be the key to his recruitment. Those are some great people.\u201d He\u2019s from the Atlanta Metro area. Georgia Tech head coach Brent Key is a former OL coach with an excellent recruiting reputation. The Jackets may be the Cats\u2019 top competition. <\/p>\n Decision Date: TBD Four schools are under consideration, but it\u2019s boiled down to a two-horse race between Kentucky and Oregon for the Elite 11 finalist. The Wildcats had a ton of momentum a week ago until he went to Oregon for an official visit. He described the visit as \u201cperfect.\u201d That\u2019s not exactly what Big Blue Nation wants to hear. <\/p>\n
