The 2025 NFL<\/a> Draft on-stage hats<\/a> were released on Friday, and this year\u2019s look features a couple of elements that could spark debate.<\/p>\n

Embroidered on each cap is the team name, logo and city or nickname. Then on the bill is an olive branch design that gives it a sea captain vibe. (There\u2019s also a generic NFL hat for Roger Goodell or Rob Lowe<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

Here is every team\u2019s hat:<\/p>\n

Each cap also has a team-specific pin attached to it that highlights a bit of local flavor, with some that are more recognizable than others\u2026<\/p>\n

\u00a0Carolina Panthers<\/p>\n

This one is easy enough \u2014 the Carolina Panthers have a panther. Although it appears to have a severe underbite.<\/p>\n

Chicago Bears<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Following the logic of the Panthers\u2019 pin, the Bears surely have a be\u2014 not so fast. The Bears have the flag of Chicago. Stay alert.<\/p>\n

Cincinnati Bengals<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The Bengals\u2019 pin is a throne, \u201crepresenting the Bengals as the ruler of the jungle,\u201d according to New Era. The Bengals have a real-life throne that they use in a pregame ceremony called \u201cThe Ruler of the Jungle<\/a>\u201d where a notable person leads the team\u2019s \u201cWho Dey\u201d chant.<\/p>\n

Cleveland Browns<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Since Cleveland is home to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, its pin is an electric guitar. Surely the only guitar pin in the collection, right? Just you wait.<\/p>\n

Denver Broncos<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The Broncos\u2019 pin depicts the nearby Rocky Mountains. It also resembles, the Colorado Rockies\u2019 logo, a team most locals try to forget about come football season.<\/p>\n

Detroit Lions<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The Lions\u2019 pin is a car wheel, which is fitting given the hat identifies Detroit as the Motor City.<\/p>\n

Arizona Cardinals<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The Cardinals\u2019 pin is several things. It\u2019s shaped like the state of Arizona and includes design elements of the state flag, then sitting on the top right corner is a cardinal, which is also the state bird (UPDATE: Well, New Era claims<\/a> the cardinal is Arizona\u2019s state bird, but as many readers have pointed out in the comments below, it\u2019s actually the cactus wren).<\/p>\n

Atlanta Falcons<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a Georgia peach, the state fruit, for the Falcons. Fun fact: Actual Falcons don\u2019t eat peaches, they eat other birds and small mammals.<\/p>\n

Baltimore Ravens<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The Ravens\u2019 pin is a Maryland Blue Crab, a local delicacy. Someone just needs to make an Old Bay Seasoning pin to go with it.<\/p>\n

Buffalo Bills<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The Bills\u2019 pin is a buffalo. Not a chicken wing or a folding table<\/a>. Just a buffalo.<\/p>\n

Green Bay Packers<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

A block of cheese would\u2019ve been an obvious choice for the Packers, but New Era decided to go with a deeper cut: a bicycle, \u201creferencing the team\u2019s training camp tradition of riding kids\u2019 bikes<\/a> to and from practice.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jacksonville Jaguars<\/p>\n

The Jaguars\u2019 pin depicts the John T. Alsop Jr. Bridge, a bridge everyone outside of Jacksonville will learn about for the first time because of this pin.<\/p>\n

Kansas City Chiefs<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The Chiefs\u2019 pin bears the number \u201c142.2.\u201d No, that\u2019s not Andy Reid\u2019s favorite radio station, it\u2019s the decibel level Chiefs fans achieved at Arrowhead Stadium on Sept. 29, 2014, achieving a world record<\/a> for the loudest crowd noise. It happened during a Monday night game against the New England Patriots. They beat Tom Brady and the Pats 41-14 that night.<\/p>\n

Las Vegas Raiders<\/p>\n

The Raiders\u2019 pin is the silhouette of their home, Allegiant Stadium.\u00a0 Of all the iconic imagery associated with the Raiders and Las Vegas, this choice is kind of surprising. Why not Al Davis\u2019 sunglasses or a casino buffet?<\/p>\n

Los Angeles Chargers<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The Charger\u2019s pin combines the California grizzly bear and star from the state flag with the franchise\u2019s lightning bolt logo. The result is a symbol that looks like it\u2019s teasing a sequel to The Flash where he has to defend California against a Kryptonian supervillain.<\/p>\n

Los Angeles Rams<\/p>\n

The Rams\u2019 pin is a mariachi jacket representing the Mariachi Rams<\/a>, a group that plays at SoFi Stadium during every home game.<\/p>\n

Miami Dolphins<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The Dolphins pin is a wind-blown palm tree, referencing \u201cthe team\u2019s speed and home state.\u201d If they wanted to more clearly convey speed they should have done Mike McDaniel sprinting off the field<\/a> at halftime, though.<\/p>\n

Houston Texans<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The Texans\u2019 pin reads \u201cH-Town Made,\u201d the team\u2019s slogan. Why \u201cH-Town\u201d apparently it\u2019s unclear<\/a> who started it, but the \u201990s R&B group with the same name might want to talk to a lawyer.<\/p>\n

Indianapolis Colts<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The Colts\u2019 pin is a hammer and anvil, which are used in the team\u2019s pregame tradition<\/a>. They would sell way more hats if it was of Caitlin Clark though.<\/p>\n

New York Jets<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The Jets\u2019 pin is the Statue of Liberty\u2019s torch, which is perfect for this. But New York has so many iconic symbols. So which did the Giants get?<\/p>\n

New York Giants<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The Giants\u2019 pin is a subway car. Oh.<\/p>\n

Philadelphia Eagles<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The Eagles\u2019 pin is the Liberty Bell, because of course it is. And because I guess a tush push pin could be seen as inappropriate.<\/p>\n

New Orleans Saints<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The Saints pin is an umbrella \u2014 another one that most probably wouldn\u2019t expect. The parasol umbrella is \u201ca popular symbol of New Orleans culture,\u201d according to New Era. Larry Holder<\/a> informs me that in the \u201980s, late Saints owner Tom Benson would dance on the field<\/a> with a parasol after wins. Once someone explains to this year\u2019s Saints draft<\/a> picks what the 1980s were I\u2019m sure they\u2019ll find that fascinating.<\/p>\n

Minnesota Vikings<\/p>\n

The Vikings pin is, of course, a viking helmet. Very cool and very obvious.<\/p>\n

New England Patriots<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The Patriots\u2019 pin is the 22-story lighthouse<\/a> at Gillette Stadium, the tallest \u201clighthouse\u201d in the country. It may or may not have been where Bill Belichick watched Tom Brady\u2019s 2021 Super Bowl win.<\/p>\n

Washington Commanders<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The Commanders\u2019 pin is a hog, referencing both the team\u2019s mascot, Major Tuddy (who is a hog), and Washington\u2019s famed offensive line from the \u201980s, nicknamed \u201cThe Hogs.\u201d Except, this looks a bit more like Babe: Pig in the City than a hog.<\/p>\n

Tennesse Titans<\/p>\n

And here\u2019s another guitar. The Titans\u2019 pin is an acoustic guitar, though. But country music can use electric guitars, too. And rock music can use acoustic guitars. Guitar stereotyping needs to stop.<\/p>\n

Pittsburgh Steelers<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The Steelers\u2019 pin is of the Roberto Clemente Bridge, one of Pittsburgh\u2019s many bridges. That makes two bridge-themed pins in this collection now. And up next we have the San Francisco 49ers. I bet we all know what their pin is gonna be, right?<\/p>\n

San Francisco 49ers<\/p>\n

The Niners\u2019 pin is\u2026 a fog horn<\/a>? So wait, the Jaguars have the John T. Alsop Jr. bridge, the Steelers have the Roberto Clemente Bridge, but the 49ers don\u2019t have the Golden Gate Bridge? New Era\u2019s out here throwing curveballs.<\/p>\n

Seattle Seahawks<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The Seahawks\u2019 pin is a Sasquatch wearing a 12th man jersey. The team famously considers its fans to be their 12th man on the field, but why a Sasquatch? According to New Era, it represents \u201cthe fact that Big Foot lives in the Pacific North West.\u201d A lot of cryptozoologists working at New Era, apparently.<\/p>\n

Tampa Bay Buccaneers<\/p>\n

The Buccaneers\u2019 pin is a skull, as in their logo.<\/p>\n

Dallas Cowboys<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The Cowboys\u2019 pin conveys the long-standing claim that they are America\u2019s team. This pin will likely annoy everyone who isn\u2019t a Cowboys fan.<\/p>\n
