Newlywed Aaron Rodgers tore into critics Tuesday on \u201cThe Pat McAfee Show,\u201d where he called the entitlement of information regarding his personal life \u201cf\u2013king ridiculous\u201d as his mysterious wife remains out of the spotlight<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In his first appearance on the ESPN program in two months, Rodgers \u2014 who revealed in early June that he\u2019s a married man<\/a> \u2014 explained that the person he married will remain private, even as the outside noise surrounding the union intensifies.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy private life is my private life and it\u2019s going to stay that way, and I\u2019m with somebody who wants to be private, and if and when she wants to be out and there\u2019s a picture, she\u2019ll choose that,\u201d the new Steelers quarterback said. <\/p>\n

Rodgers\u2019 personal life has continued to make headlines after he confirmed to reporters in early June he\u2019s been married a \u201ccouple of months.\u201d<\/p>\n

The four-time league MVP initially stirred buzz about his marital status at the beginning of the month, when he sported a black band on his left ring finger<\/a> in a Steelers portrait after agreeing to a one-year, $13.65 million deal with the team.<\/p>\n

Rodgers has been dating a woman named Brittani as of December 2024.<\/p>\n

The quarterback, who has been in high-profile relationships<\/a> with actresses Shailene Woodley, Olivia Munn and retired NASCAR driver Danica Patrick, added his other half wishes to remain out of the spotlight \u2014 something he intends to do upon calling it a career as early as next year.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen this is all done, I\u2019m out. You won\u2019t see me. And I know that I\u2019ve chosen to be in the public eye for one more season, but my private life is staying private,\u201d said Rodgers, who revealed Tuesday his upcoming Steelers season will likely be his last in the NFL.<\/a><\/p>\n

Since taking part in Pittsburgh\u2019s minicamp this month, Rodgers has returned to Southern California, where he\u2019s hit the beach<\/a> \u2014 albeit, without his significant other \u2014 on different occasions.<\/p>\n

The Steelers will report back to Pittsburgh for training camp in July as they prepare for their first season with Rodgers under center.<\/p>\n

They\u2019ll visit Rodgers\u2019 former Jets team in the season opener on Sept. 7.<\/p>\n

Rodgers missed much of his first Jets season after suffering an Achilles injury in Week 1 of 2023. He played in all 17 regular-season games last year, throwing for 28 touchdowns and against 11 interceptions.<\/p>\n
