The Detroit Lions have been wildly successful finding talent in the NFL Draft since hiring Brad Holmes as their general manager.<\/p>\n

Since the 2021 draft, the Lions have drafted four players who have earned All-Pro honors and two others who have earned spots in the Pro Bowl during that time.<\/p>\n

That 2021 draft has seen five of the seven players selected sign second contracts with the team when their rookie deals ended, including three contracts that were among the most expensive at the players’ respective positions.<\/p>\n

One member of that 2021 draft was also recently given some pretty high praise in comparison to that class as a whole.<\/p>\n

Bleacher Report’s Matt Holder<\/a> named wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown the “biggest gem” in the 2021 draft class.<\/p>\n

St. Brown was an absolute steal for the Lions.<\/p>\n

They selected him in the fourth round with the draft’s 112th pick and he has been great since they landed him.<\/p>\n

He had 90 catches for 912 yards as a rookie and has topped 1000 yards in each of the three seasons since.<\/p>\n

St. Brown has also earned a Pro Bowl spot in each of the last three seasons and All-Pro First Team honors in each of the last two.<\/p>\n

He has been an integral part of a Lions offense that became the league’s best this past season and has established himself as one of the best receivers in the NFL.<\/p>\n

You really couldn’t ask for a much better return on investment from a fourth-round pick.<\/p>\n
