He’s built an incredible career for himself on three other teams and now joins a Rams squad looking to push for the Super Bowl in 2025.<\/p>\n And over his 11-year career, Adams gets a lot of questions from young wideouts about preparation and drills they should run to get better at the position. But Adams doesn’t believe a drill or two will change things.<\/p>\n He told a crowd at Fanatics Fest this week that the one thing receivers need to focus on is their footwork at the line of scrimmage.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s not about me having better footwork, it\u2019s about me exercising my right to use my footwork every time I get pressed,” he said. “I don’t make it easy on the guy.”<\/p>\n Adams went on to show what he meant by “guarding” comedian Keegan-Michael Key.<\/p>\n \u201cThis game is a lot more mental than what people make it,” Adams added, “and that\u2019s what\u2019s given me a lot of an advantage throughout my career.\u201d<\/p>\n Adams has produced some of the best receiver numbers in NFL history and he could move up some all-time lists <\/a>this season. He’s recorded at 1,000 receiving yards every year since 2020 and now gets Matthew Stafford as his quarterback.<\/p>\n The Rams didn’t need Adams, per se, but his addition to the offense makes them a deadly force in the NFC.<\/p>\n
