The Arizona Cardinals<\/a> have been a fairly young team since Jonathan Gannon became head coach. But this offseason, there some notable veteran additions.<\/p>\n Their projected starting lineup for 2025 is one of the older ones in the league, according to Sportscasting.com’s Anthony Cardenas<\/a>.<\/p>\n The Cardinals are tied for the eighth-oldest starting lineup at 25.81 years old.<\/p>\n Now, the truth is that most of the league is pretty close. Only one team, the Green Bay Packers<\/a>, averages younger than 25 at 24.80 years old. Only five teams \u2014 the Washington Commanders<\/a>, Pittsburgh Steelers<\/a>, San Francisco 49ers<\/a>, Atlanta Falcons<\/a> and Houston Texans<\/a> \u2014 have an average starter age of at least 26 years old.<\/p>\n So 26 of the 32 teams in the league have an average starter age of 25 years old (younger than 26).<\/p>\n Washington is the oldest at 27.13 years old, almost a full year older than the next team, the Steelers at 26.37 years old.<\/p>\n The Cardinals’ starting age is surely skewed a bit by having defensive lineman Calais Campbell, who is nearly 39 years old.<\/p>\n The projection and rankings are based on Ourlads’ projected depth chart<\/a>.
