Your friendly neighborhood ball-knowers return to discuss the Cincinnati Bengals<\/a>‘ ongoing saga with defensive end contracts. Who would have thought that David Mulugheta\u2019s guy (Joseph Ossai), would be the easy one.<\/p>\n

No, Trey Hendrickson is not getting traded. Stop trying to make it happen. <\/p>\n

No, Shemar Stewart is not going to enter next year\u2019s NFL Draft<\/a>. That would be downright nutty. <\/p>\n

Both Hendrickson and Stewart seem to have the support of their teammates. Orlando Brown and Joe Burrow, for their part, seem pretty confident this gets worked out.<\/p>\n

Hendrickson is working out in Cincinnati at Black Sheep Performance (no connection to the Chris Farley\/David Spade film of the same name). He hosted a youth football camp in Dayton last weekend. He\u2019s doing charity events for Cincinnati Children\u2019s Hospital while wearing his jersey and Ted Karras\u2019s hat. <\/p>\n

All of these things seem to be very good signs that the Trey Hendrickson drama could be nearing an end. <\/p>\n

Then there is Shemar Stewart. This drama just won\u2019t die. <\/p>\n

Zac Hiller, the agent for Shemar Stewart, was on SiriusXM today with Solomon Wilcots and Christian Fauria. <\/p>\n

Hiller: \u201cObviously my job, and all agents\u2019 job, is to protect the players. Simply put, Shemar would, of course, love for his contract to be as protective as the rest of\u2026<\/p>\n

His agent had a conversation with Christian Fauria and Bleav\u2019s own Solomon Wilcots, and he said a lot of things that you would expect him to say, but he did make a couple of comments that are pretty telling.<\/p>\n
